HC Deb 26 July 1927 vol 209 cc1033-4
Mr. BUCHANAN

May I ask, Mr. Speaker, if you are prepared to give a decision as to whether the question of the closing of the Strangers' Dining Room to ladies should be considered, in view of the changed conditions?

Mr. SPEAKER

The question to which the hon. Member refers has been brought to me by the Chairman of the Refreshment Committee in the form of a Resolution passed by that Committee, and I am now taking steps to inquire

whether further accommodation can be provided such as the hon. Member suggests. It will take some little time to go into the matter, but I will do so during the Recess.
