§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Commodore Douglas King)I assume that the hon. Member is referring to the award of pensions under the post-War Regulations. Under these Regulations the widow of an acting warrant officer is not eligible for a pension from Army funds, unless her husband's death was attributable to service, in which case she would be considered for a pension based on the substantive rank of her husband.
