§ Question proposed, "That the Clause stand part of the Bill."
§ Mr. STEPHENI think this is a very good Bill and I wonder if it would not be possible for the Government to consider the extension of it to the United States of America. I find, in 994 connection with pensions, that there is difficulty with regard to people who have a pension when they go to the United States. This is making it so much of an Empire business, and I suggest that the right hon. Gentleman should consider the extension of it in the way I have suggested.
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI am much obliged to the hon. Member for the suggestion. The point is not one which could be dealt with by the Imperial Conference, but I will consider the question.
§ Bill reported, without Amendment; read the Third time, and passed, without Amendment.
§ The remaining Orders were read, and postponed.
