Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that the Sandhurst Committee concluded their labours and signed their Report on 4th November, 1926; when it is proposed to publish the Report; whether the Government have considered it; and, if so, what action they propose to take in the matter?
Lord STANLEYThe answer to the first part is yes; to the second and third parts, that my Noble Friend is not aware when it will be published by the Government, whose views on it he has not yet received. The fourth part, therefore, does not arise.
