HC Deb 14 February 1927 vol 202 c547
48. Mr. COUPER

asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make regarding the appointment of a special commission of inquiry into the development of the resources of Australia?

37. Sir NEWTON MOORE

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether any action is being taken by the Government on the lines of the statement made by Mr. Bruce, the Prime Minister of Australia, that a delegation consisting of three or four business experts would be appointed to proceed to Australia with the object of investigating and advising as to the best means of co-operation in connection with the development of the resources of the Commonwealth and the extension of Anglo-Australian trade relations?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for COLONIAL AFFAIRS (Mr. Ormsby-Gore)

I would refer to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for North Southwark on 10th February, to which I have at present nothing to add.
