HC Deb 20 December 1927 vol 212 c221
56. Mr. WESTWOOD

(for Mr. BROMLEY) asked the right hon. Member for Cheltenham, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, if there are any ex-Members of this House who still owe money to the Kitchen Committee for refreshments supplied to their order whilst Members of the House; what is the total amount owing; and what steps are being taken to recover it?

Sir JAMES AGG-GARDNER

No case of an ex-Member of Parliament being in debt to the Kitchen Committee has been known for the last 24 years.

HON. MEMBERS

Withdraw!

Mr. SPEAKER

The hon. Member who put down the question was not here to put it, so he cannot withdraw.
