HC Deb 19 December 1927 vol 212 c5
14. Viscount SANDON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will investigate the degree of demand and the probable degree of use if procured, and the cost, of a resident dentist in Rodriguez; and if he will, in the event of such a case being made out, provide one?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Ormsby-Gore)

I will refer my Noble Friend's inquiry to the Officer Administering the Government of Mauritius for a report, but I may point out that there are great difficulties in providing dental treatment for small and somewhat isolated communities such as that of Rodriguez.
