Mr. BUCHANANasked the Minister of Labour if he is taking steps to have the Employment Exchanges altered in construction to meet the requirements of the new Act in so far as the meetings of Courts of Referees are concerned, and to secure that no more waiting or overcrowding than is unavoidable will take place, particularly in the carry-over period?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDI am endeavouring as far as possible to anticipate the requirements of the new Act in the direction indicated, and the position is being specially reviewed towards that end.
