Member for Woolwich (Mr. Snell), in reply to a question on the 14th November, that I had no reason to suppose that this exercise of authority in respect of one of the Masai tribes had led to the consequences suggested, but 1854 if the hon. Member can supply me with specific instances I will cause the necessary inquiries to be made of the Governor.
