§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREThe Governor recently informed the Legislative Council that it was the intention to bring the Ordinance into force on 1st January or soon afterwards. I have no information which would lead me to think that any changes in the police or military regulations affecting the King's African Rifles are likely to arise as a result of the creation of the Defence Force as a reserve.
