HC Deb 07 December 1927 vol 211 c1385
49. Mr. DEAN

asked the Prime Minister if he will grant a day for the discussion of the Motion on Agriculture standing in the name of the hon. Member for Penrith and Cockermouth?

The PRIME MINISTER

I have already been asked by the Liberal party through the usual channels for a day for a discussion on agriculture, and I hope that it will be possible to find time for such a discussion, although I cannot yet fix a definite date. This would afford an opportunity for my hon. Friend, and those associated with him in the Motion to which he refers, to place their views before the House.
