HC Deb 12 April 1927 vol 205 cc172-3
14. Viscount SANDON

asked the Secretary of State for War whether recreational accommodation such as existed before the War can be restored for officers and other ranks who are patients in the military hospital at Millbank; and how much would it cost to effect this?

The SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Sir Laming Worthington- Evans)

I am not sure to what my Noble Friend refers. Generally speaking, the recreational facilities at Millbank are, I am informed, better than they were before the War.

Viscount SANDON

Is it not a fact that before the War there was a room with a billiard table in it?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I will make inquiries, and see what has become of it.
