HC Deb 07 April 1927 vol 204 c2268
69. Mr. KELLY

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the position of the cotton industry; and will he consider the setting up of a Commission to investigate the methods adopted in the capitalisation of many of the mills and factories?

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer on the 5th May last to the hon. Member for the Gorton Division, to which I have nothing to add. I am sending him a copy.
