§ Mr. AMERYCertain legislation has already been enacted, and under municipal Regulations officers of the Department of Health may at all times inspect establishments or factories engaged in trades scheduled to those Regulations. I understand that more effective and modern legislation for the supervision of dangerous and unhealthy trades and industries is being prepared and that draft legislation dealing with the employment 1670 of women and children in industry and with the inspection of factories is also under preparation.
