HC Deb 03 May 1926 vol 195 c32
31. Mr. HARRIS

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Rapallo Treaty, referred to in Article 1 of the new treaty between Germany and the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics, has been notified to the League of Nations or its details made known to the Government; and, if so, whether the earlier treaty contains a military clause?

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

Yes, Sir. The Treaty was registered by the League of Nations on the 19th September, 1923, the official German text having been communicated by the German Consul at Geneva. This text is published in the League of Nations Treaty Series, Volume XIX (page 248 et seq.), which will be found in the Library of the House; it contains no military clause.
