HC Deb 08 March 1926 vol 192 c1886
14. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Reports which last year he undertook to secure from the Dependencies upon pre-War and post-War monetary grants to missionary societies have now been supplied; and whether it is proposed to issue these in the form of a White Paper?

Mr. AMERY

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. A Return containing the information supplied by the Governments of the Colonies and Protectorates has been lithographed, and copies have been sent to the House of Commons Library for the convenience of hon. Members who may wish to refer to it. I am sending a copy to the right hon. and gallant Member for his own use. In the interests of economy it is not proposed to lay the Return before Parliament in the form of a Command Paper.
