§ Mr. R. McNEILLThe number of successful candidates at the Southborough examination for the Clerical Classes appointed up to the 19th June inclusive, is 1,227. I am afraid that I cannot predict the date by which all the remaining candidates (numbering approximately 7,000) will be appointed.
