HC Deb 21 June 1926 vol 197 c23
48. Rear-Admiral SUETER

asked the Prime Minister whether he can arrange to give a day for a Debate on the question of creating a Ministry of Defence for the better co-ordination and more economical administration of the three fighting services?

The PRIME MINISTER

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to what I said on this subject on the 15th April, arising out of the statement on Business, and also to the Debate on the Report stage of the Air Estimates on the 8th March. The matter can be raised on the appropriate Vote on an allotted Supply day.
