HC Deb 18 February 1926 vol 191 cc2120-3
Mr. RAMSAY MacDONALD

Might I ask the Prime Minister what Government business he proposes to take to-day in addition to the Anglo-Iraq Treaty Motion?

The PRIME MINISTER

The first Order on the Paper.

Mr. MacDONALD

Might I ask again if the right hon. Gentleman will be good enough to tell us the business for next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

On Monday we shall consider, in Committee, the Money Resolutions for the Unemployment Insurance (Northern Ireland Agreement) and Trade Facilities: Public Works Loans Bill (Second Reading); Imperial War Graves Endowment Fund Bill (Second Reading); and other business on the Paper.

Tuesday: Until 8.13 we will take Supplementary Estimates for Ministry of Health; Police, England and Wales; Office of Works Housing Schemes; and other Votes on the Paper; and the Report Stages of Money Resolutions the Committee stages of which we are taking on Monday.

Wednesday: Until 8.15, Supplementary Estimates for Ministry of Pensions; Overseas Settlement, Compensation (Ireland); and the Report of other Votes on the Paper.

Thursday: We shall move Mr. Speaker out of the Chair on the Air Estimates, and shall consider Vote A1, 4, 2 and 3, in Committee.

I hope the Air Estimates will be in the hands of hon. Members to-morrow.

Motion made, and Question put:

"That the Motion relative to the Anglo-Iraq Treaty have precedence this day of the Business of Supply, and that the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
