HC Deb 08 February 1926 vol 191 c624
58. Mr. RAMSDEN

asked the Minister of Agriculture what action he proposes to take with regard to the recommendations made in the Report on Egg Marketing in England and Wales?

Mr. GUINNESS

As my hon. Friend is, perhaps, aware, the National Farmers' Union and National Poultry Council recently convened a conference at which the Report served as a basis for discussion. These two organisations are now co-operating in the formulation of definite proposals, and I am hopeful that a scheme acceptable to all interests concerned will be produced. I propose, therefore, to await the result of their deliberations.
