HC Deb 30 November 1925 vol 188 c1795
5. Lieut.-Colonel ANGUS McDONNELL

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Government have come to any decision as to the appointment of a medical director as a permanent member of the Colonial Office staff for the purpose of coordinating medical research work in the different Crown Colonies?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Amery)

The matter is still under consideration.

Lieut.-Colonel FREMANTLE

How long is it likely to be under consideration? It has been under consideration for five or six years.

Mr. AMERY

It has not been under my consideration so long as that. I hope to get it settled at an early date.
