asked the Undersecretary of State for the Home Department as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he will consider the advisability of making arrangements for the broadcasting of the proceedings of this House, especially on such occasions as the speeches made on the Vote of Condolence for His Majesty the King on the death of the late Queen Alexandra?

As the hon. and gallant Member for Kingston-upon-Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworth) was informed on 1st April last, no decision will be taken on this subject until the general question of the future of broadcasting has been settled after the Report of the Broadcasting Committee.
