HC Deb 19 November 1925 vol 188 cc557-8
21. Mr. ELLIS DAVIES

asked the Home Secretary why the churchyard at Nantglyn, in the county of Denbigh, has not yet been transferred to the parish council; and when the transfer will be made?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I am informed by the Welsh Church Commission that they only received the necessary plans and surveys of the burial ground this month. They are making the usual arrangements for exhibiting them in public locally, and the transfer will be completed shortly.

22. Mr. DAVIES

further asked the Home Secretary whether the new portion of the churchyard at Derwen, in the county of Denbigh, has, been transferred to the Welsh Church Representative Body, and when the other portion will be transferred to the parish council?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I am informed by the Welsh Church Commission that the churchyard at Derwen has been transferred to the parish council. No part of it is transferable to the Representative Body of the Church in Wales.
