§ 40. Mr. ALBERYasked the Minister of Health whether any inquiry has been held into the suggested erection of 10-storey flats in connection with slum clearance schemes; and, if so, when the Report of any such Committee of Inquiry will be available?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have set up no such Committee as the hon. Member has in mind. Two or three local authorities, however, are contemplating the erection as an experiment of blocks of 10-storey flats in connection with slum clearance schemes and I am giving careful consideration to this question in all its aspects.
