asked the Prime Minister whether the Government has considered the recommendations put forward as to times and duration of the sittings of the House; and, if so, whether he is prepared to make any statement on the subject?

The recommendations referred to by my hon. Friend will not be lost sight of, but I am not prepared to make any statement at present.
