HC Deb 19 November 1925 vol 188 cc568-9
37. Colonel DAY

asked the Minister of Health whether he has yet received a report of the case recently dealt with at the Chesterfield Police Court, in which it appeared that an overseer of the poor had let, for occupation by a family of eight, a building previously occupied by swine; and what action it is proposed to take in the matter?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I understand that as soon as the facts were reported to the local authority by their sanitary inspector, they took the necessary steps to secure the vacation of the premises. ID does not appear that this is a matter in which I can take any further action
