The Anglo-Persian Oil Company hold a concession for the oil rights in the transferred territory, but I am not aware that any such well as is referred to in the question has yet been brought in. Drilling is in progress for the purpose of ascertaining whether oil is present in sufficient quantities to justify the cost of laying a pipe line.
