65. Major Sir BERTRAM FALLE

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether a naval rating invalided during the War after 21 years' service and who is in receipt of a service and disability pension, paid by the Ministry of Pensions, and who has reached the age of 55 years, is eligible for the award of the Greenwich Hospital pension under Article 1,961 of the King's Regulations and Admiralty Instructions?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY(Mr.Davidson)

Such a rating would be eligible for the age pension or part thereof, provided the total pnesion were not increased beyond the amount which he might receive under naval post-War scales including the age addition.
