HC Deb 04 May 1925 vol 183 cc715-6
The ATTORNEY - GENERAL (Sir Douglas Hogg)

I beg to move, in page 12, in lines 40 and 41, to leave out the words "or a Judge."

This is a purely formal Amendment. The Bill, as drawn, provides that the rule shall be made by the Court, or a Judge. That is an expression that lawyers are familiar with in the High Court, but it has been pointed out that it has no meaning in the County Court.

Amendment agreed to.

Further Amendment made: In page 13, line 11, leave out the words "or a Judge."—[The Attorney-General.]
