32. Captain GARRO-JONES

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department the number of eating houses in the British Empire Exhibition at which alcoholic liquor may be served and the number at which alcoholic liquor may not be served?

Mr. SAMUEL

I am informed by the British Empire Exhibition authorities that, out of the total number of 46 restaurants and refreshment places, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be obtainable in 43, and non-alcoholic beverages only in the remaining three.
