12. Mr. STEPHEN

asked the Minister of Pensions whether, in those cases where a man has been awarded a life pension of 20 per cent. and has on appeal to the Appeal Tribunal had the award set aside and on re-board has been found to be suffering from his disability to the extent of 25 or 30 per cent., a new award is made?

asked the Minister of Pensions the number of final awards made in each of the months December, 1924, and January and February, 1925; and in how many cases have appeals been lodged against the decision of the Ministry?

The number of final awards made by the Ministry in each of the months referred to was as follows:

In December, 1924 4,883
In January, 1925 4,968 and
In February 4,236
The statistical records of the Ministry do not show haw many of the appeals received during the three months were entered in respect of final awards made during those months.
