HC Deb 26 March 1925 vol 182 c622
72. Mr. MONTAGUE

asked the Minister of Health what types of house are now being built for demonstration purposes with Government assistance; and whether it is proposed to erect samples of any other types of house?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

Following recommendations made by the Committee on New Methods of Construction, arrangements have been made for the erection of demonstration houses of the Weir, Atholl, Telford and Wild types. In the event of the Committee recommending any other types as specially worthy of demonstration I shall, of course, give very careful consideration to their recommendation.
