Mr. WOODThe total world's production of wheat in the cereal year 1924–25 is estimated by the International Institute of Agriculture at 1,648 million cwts. The estimated requirements are approximately the same. The above figures exclude the production in Russia and China, and in certain other countries which are of comparatively minor importance.
