HC Deb 12 March 1925 vol 181 c1487
10. Mr. TAYLOR

asked the Minister of Pensions whether his attention has been drawn to the observations of the Registrar at Liverpool Bankruptcy Court on Tuesday, 3rd March, complaining that the practice of accepting pension papers or drafts as security against loans was prevalent in the Liverpool area, and whether he will institute inquiries with a view to the prosecution of the offenders in the case of pension drafts or papers issued by his Department?

Mr. GUINNESS

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to the hon. and gallant Member for East Lewisham (Lieut.-Colonel Pownall) on Monday last.
