asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the number of contracts placed abroad recently owing to the inability of home firms to compete in countries where lower wages are paid and longer hours worked; and whether the Government will consider what steps, if any, can be taken in the interests of the unemployed


I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by the Prime Minister yesterday in reply to questions raising similar matters.
