Sir CHARLES OMANasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Standing Committee, appointed to act in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor of the Exchequer with regard to the artistic side of the currency of the Realm, has ever expressed to him or to his predecessors its dissatisfaction with the present designs of the silver coinage and suggested changes; and whether such changes, by means of the procuring of an Order in Council, have ever been taken into consideration?
