Mr. CAMPBELLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any negotiations on the reserved questions are taking place between His Majesty's Government and the Egyptian Government; what subjects are being or have been dealt with; and whether any progress in the negotiations has been made?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The other two parts do not, therefore, arise. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to the right hon. and gallant Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Colonel Wedgwood) on the 10th February last.
