§ The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Viscount Wolmer)The sub-postmistress at 393, New Cross Road, Deptford, resigned her appointment in February last, and the office was moved about 80 yards to the premises of the only applicant. The question of estab- 2014 lishing a branch office in New Cross Road will be reconsidered in about a year's time, as explained to a deputation from the Deptford Borough Council in July last, and, in the event of a branch office being opened, the sub-office in question would probably be closed.
