§ 62. Mr. J. HUDSONasked the Postmaster-General why his Department are refusing the War bonus to Post Office servants who were called up under the Military Service Acts but who received their civil pay?
Mr. GUINNESSAs I explained in Debate on the 23rd February last, War bonus arrears are not payable to Post Office servants who were deemed to have been enlisted under the Military Service Acts because the judgments of the Court of Appeal in the case of Pidduck and others are not applicable to them.
