HC Deb 29 July 1925 vol 187 c417
33. Mr. TINNE

asked the Minister of Labour whether His Majesty's Government proposes to take any steps to give effect to the recommendations of the International Labour Conference, 1924, relating to the utilisation of workers' spare time proposing legislative action against the misuse of alcohol, against tuberculosis, venereal disease, and gambling?

The action proposed by His Majesty's Government regarding the recommendation to which my hon. Friend refers was set out in Cmd. 2441 (1925), which was laid on the Table of the House on the 22nd June, of which I am sending him a copy. The proposed communication to the Secretary-General of the League described in the Command Paper has now been despatched.
