§ 21. Mr. BATEYasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that there were some houses built at Chilton Lane, Ferry-hill Station, County Durham, on which the subsidy was paid over three months ago, and two of the houses are still un-tenanted waiting for a purchaser to buy them; and will he consider the desirability of withholding the subsidy on houses until they are likely to be occupied?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have made inquiries and gather that the two houses to which the hon. Member refers have been sold and will be occupied shortly.
