HC Deb 13 July 1925 vol 186 cc866-7
27. Mr. LUNN for

asked the Minister of Agriculture what was the annual rent received from Crown land in Regent Street under the old leases and before the work of reconstruction began; and what is the increase, if any, under the new leases granted since the present scheme of reconstruction was initiated?

Mr. WOOD

The original leases reserved rents amounting in the aggregate to £26,383 9s. 7d. It is estimated that on completion of the rebuilding the vents will amount to £450,000 per annum. The new lettings on rebuilding in some cases include small additional areas adjoining but not actually situated in Regent Street.
