asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department in which city, ports, or commercial centres of Russia, British Consuls are stationed: and whether it is proposed to appoint Consuls in other districts of Russia and Siberia for the assistance of British commerce and trade?

Assistant official Agents are stationed at Leningrad and Vladivostok under the superintendence at His Majesty's Mission at Moscow. I cannot say when any further appointments will be made.

Will these British Consuls be instructed in their duties to British nationals?
