HC Deb 09 July 1925 vol 186 cc606-7
76. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

Sir S. HOARE

Negotiations for a formal agreement with Germany to permit of British aircraft making flights to Germany with reciprocal facilities for German aircraft to make flights to this country are still proceeding; at the moment the position remains as stated in my reply to the hon. and gallant Member for Leith (Captain Benn) on the 7th May. As regards facilities for regular flights across Germany and, in particular, the operation of a service to Prague, I regret that I am unable to add anything to the replies given to the hon. and gallant Member on the 21st and 25th May.

Captain BENN

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether no arrangement was come to, in consequence of the agreement about the restriction on the power of German aircraft, recently come to by the Council of Ambassadors?

Sir S. HOARE

No, Sir; I have received no official information as to what the attitude of the German Government is towards the proposed changes.
