§ Colonel ASHLEYI assume that the question relates to the new road between Woodford High Road and Ilford, which has been open to traffic for the past nine months. I am not in a position at present to make a grant from the Road Fund 1197 towards the extension of this road, nor have I received any indication of contributions being forthcoming from the highway authorities.
