asked the Minister of Health if he will give the number of reported cases of venereal disease in England and Wales, with the total number of attendances at clinics, for each of the years from 1919 to the present time?

As the hon. and gallant Member is no doubt aware, there is no compulsory notification of cases of these diseases, but with permission I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT particulars as to the numbers of cases of venereal disease dealt with for the first time at Treatment Centres in England and Wales during each of the years from 1919 to 1924 and the total number of attendance at the centres during each of those years.

Following are the particulars:
