Mr. ORMSBY-GOREasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he proposes to introduce a Bill, or Bills, dealing with the Treaty with Iraq and the protocols thereto; when the Bill, or Bills, will be introduced; when the Treaty and protocols will be dealt with by the Assembly in Iraq; and whether approval by the Iraq Assembly will be required prior to the introduction of the Bills in Parliament?
Mr. THOMASThe Treaty and connected documents are now under the consideration of the Iraq Constituent 26 Assembly. I can make no statement at present as to what further action will be taken by His Majesty's Government.
