Lieut. - Commander KENWORTHYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what are the new regulations that have been issued by the American Government with regard to the landing of all second-class alien passengers at Ellis Island instead of at the piers as heretofore, and with regard to the examination of first-class passengers only before 7.30 in the evening; and whether friendly representations are being made to the Government of the United States of America on these matters?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have no information regarding such new regulations beyond what has appeared in the Press, but His Majesty's Ambassador at Washington has been requested to furnish a report.
