§ The PRIME MINISTERThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. There is no occasion for setting up a special committee. The work is effectively done in, or co-ordinated by, the Foreign Office under my personal direction, with the assistance of the Lord President of the Council, who represents His Majesty's Government in the League. The members of the staff with one exception belong to the Foreign Office.
