§ The SECRETARY for MINES (Mr. Shinwell)I am aware that experiments have been made in the United States. Experimental work on a small scale has also been undertaken privately in this country, and my Department is watching developments both here and abroad. I will communicate my hon. Friend's suggestion to the Safety in Mines Research Board.
